Forest Hills Gardens is a private community without gates but with private roads and lush green spaces.
The community is overseen and managed by the Forest Hills Gardens Corporation (FHGC).
The FHGC is the managing body of the community with an elected Board of Directors. The Corporation’s mandate is to preserve the character and spirit of the community including its historic nature, streets, sites and structures.
Residents of Forest Hills Gardens are bound by the Covenants and Restrictions of the FHGC including the legal requisite to obtain prior approval from the Architectural Committee of the Board of Directors prior to making alterations to sites or structures including the exteriors of their own homes.
The FHGC owns the street and sewers, and ensures that the buildings adhere to their original designs.
The Corporation also ensures that the streets of Forest Hills Gardens remain private for residents and provides security patrols, tree maintenance, events and activities, general maintenance as well as order and organization in the community.
